Daily Prayer for January 27th, 2020

Good morning, God—thank you! 🙂

Your strength, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead flows through us who believe, but, for you to operate in our lives, we have to place confidence in you to attain it—choose faith and not fear to spark your power. I trust you, Lord! Thank you for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, as you enlightened my heart with hope. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ephesians 1:17-23 English Standard Version (ESV)

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Colossians 1:16 English Standard Version (ESV)

16 For by[a] him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

2 Timothy 1:7 English Standard Version (ESV)

for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Ephesians 6:10 English Standard Version (ESV)

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Matthew 19:26 English Standard Version (ESV)

26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
