Daily Prayer for November 27th, 2019

Good morning, God—thank You! 🙂

Thank You, especially for Christ Jesus. He did for me what I could not do. He/You came and paid the price of the curse, which was death and separation from You. I have been made righteous through His blood. Now, I live by faith in that. “Cursed is anyone who hangs on a pole,” and tries to keep the law, which would negate what You sent Your Son to do. Thank You, Jesus, for suffering what You did for my salvation. Thank You for giving me life! Sanctify me. Help me to walk in obedience—turn from sin, and to You in compliance. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 3:16 New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Acts 3:19 New International Version (NIV)

19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

Isaiah 44:22 New International Version (NIV)

22 I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you.”

Hebrews 9:22 English Standard Version (ESV)

22 Indeed, under the law, almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins.

Galatians 3:13 New International Version (NIV)

13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”
