Daily Prayer for June 18th, 2019

Good morning, God—thank You! 🙂

As hard as it is in this double-dealing world, help me to not pass judgment on another. If anyone is struggling with wrongdoing, let me restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Holy Spirit, keep watch over me, lest I am tempted too. In Jesus name. Amen.

Ephesians 5:4 English Standard Version (ESV)

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.

Romans 2:1 English Standard Version (ESV)

God’s Righteous Judgment

Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.

Proverbs 19:29 English Standard Version (ESV)

29 Condemnation is ready for scoffers,
and beating for the backs of fools.

Matthew 7:12 English Standard Version (ESV)

The Golden Rule

12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Galatians 6:1 English Standard Version (ESV)

Bear One Another’s Burdens

Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.

John 15:13-22 English Standard Version (ESV)

13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 17 These things I command you so that you will love one another.
