Daily Prayer for March 24th, 2019

Good morning, God—thank You! 🙂

Let me not be foolish, but walk in Your will—not get drunk with wine, but be filled with the Spirit. I draw near to You and sing melodies to You with my heart, O’ Lord. Refresh my mind and soul. Thank You, Father, for everything!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Psalm 85:6 English Standard Version (ESV)

Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you?

James 4:8 English Standard Version (ESV)

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Matthew 6:33 English Standard Version (ESV)

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Acts 3:19-20 English Standard Version (ESV)

19 Repent, therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,20 that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,

Ephesians 5:14-21 English Standard Version (ESV)

14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

“Awake, O sleeper,
and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,16 making the best use of the time because the days are evil.17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, 19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.
