Daily Prayer for January 13th, 2019

Good Sunday morning, God—thank You! :o)

Help me to live with no consciousness of sin as though sin never existed. Do not let it pass through my mind. Instead, let me envision You and be conscious of Christ, rather than follow my mind to wrong-thinking. We have all fallen short of Your glory—we believers are sinners saved by grace. Why yield to guilt and condemnation and be mindful of the wrong I’ve done, then the right Jesus did, as if it never happened? Let me not acknowledge what Satan did to Adam in the Garden of Eden as if it were greater than what Jesus did on the cross at Calvary. Let my faith be bold, receiving, loving, reigning!! In Jesus name. Amen.

1 John 1:9 English Standard Version (ESV)

20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

1 Corinthians 6:11 English Standard Version (ESV)

11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
