Daily Prayer for November 8th, 2018

Good morning, God of Peace—thank You! 🙂

Thank You especially that I have been made holy through the blood of your son, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus, for suffering what You did for my salvation. Holy Spirit, with thanksgiving, as I persist on this journey…let me take heed to Your instruction, and obey You though Your process of complete sanctification (spiritual growth) in me. In Jesus name. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 English Standard Version (ESV)

23 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:11 English Standard Version (ESV)

11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Romans 6:6 English Standard Version (ESV)

We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

Hebrews 13:12 English Standard Version (ESV)

12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.

Philippians 1:6 English Standard Version (ESV)

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
