Daily Prayer for October 11th, 2018

Good morning, God—thank You!! 🙂

Thank you for the present time. Let me not push forward before your timing is perfect, or scramble to snatch the next minute. I long to savor the moment—to unwrap the gift of right now. I love You! In Jesus name. Amen.

Jeremiah 2:25-35 The Message (MSG)

25 “Slow down. Take a deep breath. What’s the hurry?
Why wear yourself out? Just what are you after anyway?
But you say, ‘I can’t help it.
I’m addicted to alien gods. I can’t quit.’

Proverbs 23:4-5 The Message (MSG)

7

4-5 Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich;
restrain yourself!
Riches disappear in the blink of an eye;
wealth sprouts wings
and flies off into the wild blue yonder.

Luke 12:27-28 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O ye of little faith?
