Daily Prayer for June 21st, 2018

Good morning, God—thank You for another day!! :o)

I do, I try to consider it joy when I face trials of many kinds, but from time to time when tribulation comes, I tend to fall away. Please help me to keep my trust in You. In Jesus name. Amen.

James 1:2-4 New International Version (NIV)

Trials and Temptations

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

1 Peter 1:7 New International Version (NIV)

These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

1 Peter 1:6-7 New International Version (NIV)

In all this, you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Matthew 13:20-21 New International Version (NIV)

20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.
