Daily Prayer for April 21st, 2018
Good morning, God—thank You!! :o)
Holy Spirit, help me to speak graciously of Your Kingdom as I share the Good News about Jesus—with a demonstration of Your wisdom and power. Let the sun of righteousness rise and bring healing in its rays. In Jesus name. Amen.
2 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
24 Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
6 “‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.
2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.
19 and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.
2 and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the sign she had performed by healing the sick.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
