Daily Prayer for April 18th, 2018
Good morning, God—thank you for this beautiful day!! :o)
Today and every day I keep my eyes on You. You are within reach, here at my right hand. And when I draw near to You, I sense You there…how comforting. 🙂 Thank You, Father, Son & Holy Spirit (three persons in One God) for going with me wherever I go—for loving me and protecting me. In Jesus name. Amen.
18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
18 The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
23 “Am I only a God nearby,”
declares the Lord,
“and not a God far away?
24 Who can hide in secret places
so that I cannot see them?”
declares the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?”
declares the Lord.
27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
