Daily Prayer for April 8th, 2018
Good morning, God—thank You for this chilly spring day! :o)
I heard David Jeremiah ask this morning, “do you believe God can help you?” Not only do I believe You can help me, God, I can’t do anything without You! You are my Creator, my Redeemer, my Life. I depend on You for my next breath. You are my only hope. Therefore, I keep in Your love as I wait for the mercy of Your son, Jesus Christ, to bring me to eternal life. Amen.
21 Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

1 Vindicate me, Lord,
for I have led a blameless life;
I have trusted in the Lord
and have not faltered.
2 Test me, Lord, and try me,
examine my heart and my mind;
3 for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love
and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.
20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
22 Be merciful to those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear-hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
