Daily Prayer for April 3rd,2018
Good morning, God—thank You! :o)
Today is a brand new day. I will look to You for enlightenment. My focus is heavenward, as I turn my ear to wisdom and my heart to understanding. And even when I have to suffer, I keep my mind steadfast—I put my trust in You! In Jesus name. Amen.
17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding—
3 indeed, if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
3 You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.
