Daily Prayer for February 13th, 2018

Good morning, God—thank You!! 🙂

“Then sings my soul, my Savior, God, to Thee…How great thou art, How great thou art!!”
The earth is full of Your unfailing love. Nature alone speaks of Your greatness. You made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them. I bow down before You in worship. In Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 95:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

5 The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.

6 Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;

Genesis 1:7-10 New International Version (NIV)

7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

Psalm 33:5-8 New International Version (NIV)

5 The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of his unfailing love.

6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars;
he puts the deep into storehouses.
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;
let all the people of the world revere him.

Psalm 65:5-7 New International Version (NIV)

5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,
God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas,
6 who formed the mountains by your power,
having armed yourself with strength,
7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.

Jeremiah 5:22 New International Version (NIV)

22 Should you not fear me?” declares the Lord.
“Should you not tremble in my presence?
I made the sand a boundary for the sea,
an everlasting barrier it cannot cross.
The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail;
they may roar, but they cannot cross it.

Acts 4:24 New International Version (NIV)

24 When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the heavens and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.
